Hi all, I'm in Santa Cruz north of Santa fe. I have a small backyard flock. Just lost my first hen. That's hard. Poor sweety apparently dug up and ate a nail.

I'm sorry for your loss.Hi all, I'm in Santa Cruz north of Santa fe. I have a small backyard flock. Just lost my first hen. That's hard. Poor sweety apparently dug up and ate a nail.
They ARE pretty! I have a bunch of BA hens and they are completely black. Did not know the roos were so colorful. Hope you find homes for them. I live in MO now and do not need any males, but good luck to you!Hello! I am in Albuquerque and have two 7 week old black australorp/welsummer roos that we have to rehome- roosters are just too noisy for our neighbors. These haven't started crowing yet. FREE if anyone local wants them! I think they are going to be really pretty!View attachment 2706434View attachment 2706431View attachment 2706427View attachment 2706436View attachment 2706437
