I've ordered two dozen Lamona eggs and will be putting them in the incubator soon. I have a Brinsea so I am hoping for a good hatch rate.

I am every excited to have this opportunity.

Will there be a demand for the chicks?

Candled last night. Of the first dozen eggs, seven are developing.

About a week out.... Six of the seven are going to hatch. Embryos could be seen moving inside eggs.

Hi Baiser84 -- How did your Lamona hatch turn out? I am new to BYC and stumbled upon the old Lamona threads when researching dual purpose chicken breeds. Restoring this breed seems difficult and dissappointing to those who take on the task. Where did you obtain your eggs?
