Not from that one photo.

Get several, one from the side with him standing naturally, one from the front, one from the rear, and then a face closeup. May be able to tell something if you can do that.

I can tell he's really cute, tho.

that photo doesn't show him well enough to give much idea of breeds...do you have any others?...maybe profile of him standing?

yea ok we actually got him from craiglist saying that supposedly it was a " bulldog". Then called the ex owner and said it was again the air qoutes "a pit bull". It doesnt even have the face of a pit bull and it was real skinny when we got him but now you can barely see the ribs. Oh well I'll try and get some more pics of him during the walk because that is the only time he stands up straight.

Could be a staffy Bull terrior, If is a pit bull be careful they are known for turning on there owners and are not really good with kids. Over here if you own a pit bull they have to be caged or penned in. Actually you can't breed pitbulls in Australia anymore they banned it. To many kids being malled by them.

That in no way resembles a Staffy Bull. Your statements regarding the APBT are not correct. Your statements can apply to a poorly bred, socialized or confined dog of any breed. Blanket stereotypes are not any better regarding dogs than they are humans.

Good dogs have good breeders and good owners, and vice versa.

I know that most of the time the owners are to blame for the dogs being agressive but when they turn they turn in a big way and the way their jaw locks you'd have no hope getting away without serious injury. Breeding of pitbulls in banned in most states in Australia.

You can't denigh all the attacks in every country of children being malled to death and even other dogs killed while being walked by their owners. I know there are stereo types and I know that not all people treat their animals badly. But I wouldn't want one around my kids.
