I think you've got yourself a non-bully un-cropped blue pit ..

At the very least, a cross .. but I bet he's a pit.

Cute pup!

Def. looks Pit to me-and a gorgeous one at that! My son's Pit had that same look when he brought her home at 3 months old, although she was smaller. The first thing I said to him was "you better hope she grows into those Scooby-doo ears, or she's gonna look ridiculous! I say purebred blue Pit, and a large one at that! Oh, and I might add: her ears do not stand up, even tho they kind of looked like they would when she was that age.

Very pretty pup.
Those ears look like they are trying to stand up, i would say ya got some shepherd in it even if it is blue, perhaps his mom has blue in her.

I don't see any aussie in him at all.
Video was realy great, that growl of his is nothing like my pit, sounds like a shepherd.

Unless you are going to breed a DNA test is a waist of money IMO , i bet he will end up being 2 times the size he is now when he is grown.
Keep us updated on his progress wondering about them ears standing up in the next month or two.

There are "bat eared" pit bulls that have ears that do stand up fully, so that is a possibility. He looks pitty to me, and I have seen a lot of pretty blue pits that color. Adult incisors(front teeth)start coming in at around 4months of age, followed by the canines which start coming in around 5 mos. They should have the canines in fully by 6 months or so. Congrats on the new addition! He is a good looker!

We had the Wisdom panel done on one of our dogs. The only problem you might run into is that they don't have pit listed as one of their breeds, so if he is mostly pit, it may not tell you much. The testing we had done said that our dog was 25% gsd, 25% beagle, and the rest of his mix was undetermined because it didn't match closely enough with anything.

He is gorgeous as I have said. I don't see dane there...but of course mixes can turn out to look like just about anything, even when you KNOW the parents sometimes. In any event he doesn't look much like a mix to me either -- but there's always room to be wrong!

or at least my pitties do!

he's adorable. I hope the little girl we kept from bugs litter ends up with the classic style body...she should.
