Cedarwoods bloodline. We love the line. All of the people that breed dogs in the line are very responsible, and the dogs win lots of awards in shows. We've gotten all 3 of our dogs from that bloodline and have loved them all. 🄰
Ohh! at first glance I really like their dogs. Very typey, Snickers is real pretty.

Who is your girlie out of?

She's be our third generation duck hunting dog. šŸ’•
Oh, they're working line? That's so great!!!
We have Comet, our 5 year old yellow Lab now. He does great, but a second retriever always helps. ;) She, along with Comet, will also be our trail dog,
Fun!
and we plan to possible breed her once she's old enough.
I feel like you know what I'm going to say here
I know, I know, lots of dogs are in shelters that need homes. Labs are usually purchased for hunting and specific reasons that shelter dogs, (mixes) can't bring you.
Yeah, of course! I have absolutely no issue with purchasing puppies from reputable breeders.
Not wanting to be told I shouldn't breed. :)
Then I won't tell you that, but...

Oooooooooooh what breed is Ember?!

We decided to add Finn to our family because it is a good time for us to get another dog, and we've been missing one since our last boy passed. I'd like to get him involved with therapy dog work, because he has absolutely perfect temperament for it, as well as agility training. He's a four month old Golden Retriever.
Finn is so cute! I love the photo in your profile picture. ADORABLE!
I bet he'll do great in therapy work, and has great potential to do agility. Retrievers are so good at agility. šŸ’•

They're really a gorgeous breed! Our girl actually came from another breeder called Marsh and Brush, that has her dogs bred with the CedarWoods bloodline. I think the stud is Cedar woods, but can't remember his name.

I'm sure he will! I'm starting with work to get his CGC, and I'm going to use that as a lead in for therapy work. Once he passes a therapy dog test, I'm going to try to get him involved at the many nursing homes, hospitals, and libraries near us.

I really hope that agility works out!! It always makes me happy to see dogs other than border collies doing agility (Nothing against BCs, but it gets boring to always see the same dogs lol) and I'm pretty psyched that we've got a potential agility dog. We looked at bernese mountain dogs for a second (I would DIE for one) and if we had gotten one, I would have done draft.
