How is your husband doing with the letter? I understand that school comes first, but if we could get a blurb, that would help. I'm finding through translation that the Mexicans in my area are reluctant to sign, regardless of what I saw out of possible government retribution. I can't imagine what it's like to live inconstant fear of everything you say and do

I'm sorry guys. I asked him to please try to get it done asap. He not only has school but he works 2 jobs. There is one part I will have done for sure around 3-4pm, maybe I can nag him into the rest. He has a split shift from 8am to 2pm then 8 to 10 pm, so hopefully I can try to get him to do it when he is on his break from 2 to 8pm. Sorry everyone.

Cat at The Country Feed Store is fluent so she is going to be spreading the word when people come in. Erick at North County Feed is Mexican so he can spread the word, too. I can wait. School is more important and in hindsight, I don't think I'm going to make any bit of difference because I'm white and possible can't be trusted because I can't effectively communicate

So I met with a few lawyers, a lobbyist, some other hobby breeders and I think we have a pretty good game plan. We REALLY need letters from each and every one of you who lives in San Diego County and are against the ordinance. PLEASE DO NOT SEND THE LETTERS TO THE SUPERVISORS BUT TO ME DIRECTLY!

We need you to state in the letter why you're against the ordinance, what chickens/roosters mean to you/your family/your livelyhood, and what impact the passing of this ordinance will have on you. Please also include photos of you or your family members with your birds.
