I think we should stick to 12 and not turn anyone away. It won't mater that we don't all get the same back and if any one else turns up to join in the more the merrier!

very pretty!I'd hate to change the number at this point if anyone has already completed their 12? Has anyone?
I've decided on my block as the Road to Oklahoma. Because, well, I'm in Oklahoma! It's got a few triangles but not an excessive amount! I'm planning on 4 fabrics.

Oh wow, you have all those done already! It doesn't matter to me how many blocks since I will be making more to make a quilt top. It will be a sampler with everyone's different blocks, so I've been working on different ones to decide which one I might enjoy doing for the swap. So far I have completed 24 blocks with mostly browns, blacks, golds, muted blues and a little dark green. The blue is not bright like it looks in the picture. Its what I have and was going by the colors in the Earthtones - creative color schemes that katsdar had posted. I will keep the blocks that didn't turn out as well and send either one block design or several block designs for the swap. I haven't decided yet, I'm just having too much fun doing a block a day.

We will stick to 12 blocks for this swapPlease stick to 12 blocks. It doesn't matter if we have more than 12 people as long as we all get 12 blocks back. This way we can accept any late comers and I am not counting CathieSue or myself as a latecomer. We don't have to turn anyone away . It shouldn't make it any more difficult to divvy out the blocks. We currently have 13 people so that's thirteen piles of blocks. Start at one end share out one person's blocks then when you run out of them continue with the second person's and so on.
Does anyone fancy doing a little mug coaster quilt swap for Christmas? We pull out the names of people willing to do this and whoever's name we get, we send the mug coaster quilt that we have made to that person. For example, I might get Cathy Sue, she might get Kat, Kat might get Fenrosie and so on. Just a thought.
