newbie breed question - friendly in hot weather

anyone how hot is to hot for chickens?? I have a small fan going to move hair but they are all stretched out and Panting a little

Not sure, but I am doing some electronics automation (smart coop!) and I plan on having fans be triggered on by a temperature threshold - not sure what it would be...
Would little water misters be helpful?

My kids loved when we kept ameraucana. They are lovely birds with kids, but also pump out the eggs!! They were docile and curious. My toddlers would even pick them up.

They are inside my household. My house sucks in heat when it's over 80 outside. I want to get them set up for outside but won't be for 4 5 more weeks yet. I had fans on them and that seemed to help
