I think someone did a good article on syringe feeding, I'll try to find it. I totally agree with you on syringe feeding though, I only do it if they refuse to eat, look weak, or are too out of it to open their eyes. I've saved multiple babies with this method. I usually wrap them in a paper towel, tip their heads forward and dribble the mixture on the side of their beak.Looks just like a wobbly new hatched duckling. I’m afraid you are going to be disappointed putting it back out with the others unless it’s up running around good. AND mama is letting it stay with her and sibs. What it be needs is a mirror to keep it company. And V as for syringe feeding it very easy to have a newly hatch duckling chick etc aspirate so unless you are familiar with doing this V I’d a ise not to. Maybe @Everose can explain how she does it.
