My plans are to have some "Forrest Gump Specials" on hatching eggs. BBS Orps, pure BRs, plus lots of different crosses featuring my BR rooster and my Delaware rooster over various breeds, including some Barred EEs (BR x BBS Ameraucana). There will be a variety in each dozen, each for super cheap . Will have a few of the BYC bumper stickers to give out, too, but I don't plan to stay all day.

Hmmm, scattered T-storms in the forecast for next Saturday. Hope they decide to go somewhere else. I need to get rid of some juvie Marans cockerels if I'm gonna be running my incubator again....

CountryPantry- I am still interested in an Easter Egger pullet or two from you if you'll have them.


Since we are driving from a few hours away, would you be able to hold them for me in case we get there late? I'd hate to arrive only to find the chicks I wanted were already sold. Our toddler will be coming along so there is no telling when we'll actually make it out the door!

Also, will anyone have feed and/or supplies for sale? I'll need food for the new babies. I am working on my brooder now.

Hey CP, I still may be interested in a few of your olive eggers. I really shouldn't but it seems like all the ones I hatch out recently are cockerels. Maybe some of yours will give me girlie vibes!!!!

Ok, I will keep a dozen set a side for you. They have been hatching very well. Sent 30 eggs to CA to another BYCer and she hatched 25, that is great for shipped eggs.

Sounds good. I'm not 100% sure I can get them though. I'm waiting on some eggs that were supposed to be shipped last week, then this Tuesday, now she's saying she still may not have enough to send them this week at all.

I only have 1 incubator so I'll have to see what happens.
