I will be bringing my Bantam MFC roos to the show if I don't sell them by then, if anyone is interested! If someone here on BYC wants them, I will happily give them to you, just let me know. I hatched them on Aug. 2nd.

I have roos to sell, too. 3 huge B/Spl orps, a BLRW, a lav Ameraucana, and a Sebright mix. I'll be going to Cobleskill this weekend, and then Chickenstock to try and get rid of them. I don't care about the price, but I can't have them where I live. If I don't sell them by the Sussex show, they're going to have to go to the auction guy.

Mame, what do you mean, "go to the auction guy"? I've never been to the Fall show at Sussex! Do you mean I won't have to come home with them, will he take anything?????????

Well, no - but I know there is a guy who combs the cages looking to pickup cheap bargains for the auction. I was advised against selling to him once when I needed to get rid of a rooster I was particularly fond of, and wanted to have a good home. I don't know who he is, but I can try and find out. I'd hate for them to go to him, because these are nice birds, but our show will be my last shot at getting rid of these guys, 'cause I'm not bringing them all the way to the Ohio National, which is the last show I'm going to this year.

Just sold all my MFC's to a BYCer today so I will only be there if it's a great NJ Fall day!

Woo hoo!! Sold all my excess roos at Cobleskill!! Now, I only have two left that are reserved for people at Chickenstock on Sunday in NYS. HIGHLY recommend this show for next year - great swap/sale area. Had over 1000 entries, but a 3-to-1 bantam to LF ratio. I am in the minority. What, is there some new tax incentive if you have banties?! And NO Jersey Giants!? People, I implore you to stuff the show hall at Sussex with your big birds!

Oh I want to go! I don't have any birds to show yet but would love to learn! I am trying to put together a nice silkie flock so I can't wait to see everyones birds!
