Where do free ranging hens like to hide their nests?

This literally has been happening to me! I just found a little clutch under a chair on the deck with a hefty accumulation of almost a dozen eggs

Nice find! It's kind of like a Easter egg hunt every day!

Mine will hide them all kinds of places. I have found them under bushes,in window wells, they have managed to get in my woodshed and hide them in wood piles. It never fails as soon as I find a hiding spot they find somewhere else to lay.
