No emails for subscribed threads or PMs?

I like the solution "hit it with a rock until it stops being a problem" but I feel that might not help

I've been having the same problem. I go to my profile, and at the bottom I check to see if there are any new posts on my subscribed threads. I did get a barrage of email notifications two hours ago. Hope they get it straightened out soon!

Same thing has been happening to me since BYC went to new format. I thought maybe I needed to resubscribe, but no. When I checked, I was still a subscriber. I too tried unsubscribing and then resubscribed and it is hit or miss (mostly miss).

I've escalated this to our techs to hopefully find out what could be causing this!
