No No No No No No!!!!

I personally am all for people not stealing my photos and using for their financial benefit.

And yes this will effect places like ebay, if you post a photo of your favorite chicken, it means that some one who wants to sell mugs on ebay can not serach "favorite chicken" find your photo STEAL it and start selling mugs with your chicken photo on it.

You on the other hand can still print your own mugs and sell them because you OWN the rights to the photo unless you give them away.

I need to read more about this law before commenting on it specifically. I will be searching for info from somewhere other than Wikipedia since that is far from a reliable news source.

I did want to say something to the OP. I don't know how to make it sound sweet and fluffy.

If you want reasonable people to listen to you, please don't run around screeching like Chicken Little. The emoticons are cute, they do not encourage one to be taken seriously. This is especially true if the post has so many it looks like Saturday morning television. I'm willing to bet most people didn't make it past the first page.

Sorry if that offends you. I am not attacking you. Please consider this helpful advice for the future. Serious topics should be presented as such.

In the bill it will also stop you from uploading a song you lip sync to. Or any other person doing a cover to it who did not have the manpower to personally contact the artist and ask for permission.

Possibly-- if the owner of the copyrighted images issues a complaint. But that can already happen. Simply: Don't use images that you don't have permission to and you will be okay.

Like what I do is search 'uncopyrighted chicken pictures' and tons come up, I choose one, then I save it to my laptop and use it on my site. That's not bad, is it? Since they aren't copyrighted.
