No to Cherrios - really?

You have weird chickens. Maybe they just want prime rib?

Mine love cherios, oatmeal. Maybe mine just aren't picky eaters, I think they think anything I bring them is edible.

You have to bury the cherios until they germinate and grow into full sized donuts, then they will eat them....

I have a few that really like them - but they are the ones that will eat anything anyway - the rest are initially interested in the rain of food but usually give them a peck and walk away. It seems like cheerios should totally be a bird thing. Guess not.

PS I know this because my 5 year old will not be convinced that chickens do not like cheerios and regularly rains cheerios down on them from a ziploc bag. I keep trying to tell him you can't fix months of chasing chickens with cheerios - they need watermelon to fix it with food.

I bet they'll eat them with sliced bananas and milk! That's the only way I like them!

Kidding aside, mine will eat them if I crush them a little bit but they don't stampede me for them.... other than the fact they see the white paper plate that usually means their favorite treats like cottage cheese, mozarella cheese, or chopped hard boiled egg.

I'm with sydney13... I fix mine cheerios and milk most mornings, they won't eat them dry. I should have known they would end up spoiled like my dogs and cats
