Noisy Hens

All of a sudden a couple weeks ago some of our hens started to get real vocal. I am not sure if this has something to do with them starting to lay eggs or not. Hoping my neighbors don't start to compain. Anyone have any idea's why all of a sudden they started to squawk?

We have one hen who tells the entire neighborhood when she's laid an egg. You can hear her inside the house! One day I went out there and told her that the neighbors were going to complain. She gave me the stink eye and kept clucking at the top of her lungs. Some are just louder than others. But, delicious eggs are to come!
