non-laying hen

I have a 2 yr. old bantam brahma hen that has been a regular egg layer. She went through molt this Spring and then started laying again. She suddenly stopped laying and hasn't laid for about a month. She's healthy, well feed, in a calm environment and not too hot.
Anyone have any ideas on why? It's a puzzlement!

Broody?

As far as I can tell, there's not a broody bone in her body, she's just not interested, just happy to go along fat and sassy.

Is her abdomen area swollen? If so, could be egg yolk peritonitis. But you say she's not acting ill - which she should be if that's the case.

Or could she be laying, just a lot fewer eggs, and maybe larger as well? So far that's what all my 2+ year olds have done; the quantities vary, of course.
