Sick, but I got her stool sample
That's good. What did it look like?

I'm not sure I got the meds in time to save my guy.

This morning he didn't want to open his eyes, and when I gave him the meds he had a bunch of clear mucus coming out of his mouth. I hope it was just the way my husband grabbed him that made it come up. I gave him a does and I hope he makes it through the night. He needs the meds for 5 days, and if they don't work he's gonna get culled.

His girl seems alright still, I'm gonna give her the meds too, but her need seems less urgent.

Look what I got tonight :)

D'awwwww So cute! What is it? An Am?

Sort of. Its a blue Am, with white recessive genes. This is Sylvester the silver. The first one was Silvia the silver.
I may end up keeping all my blues to work into a breeding program. But I am getting blues and blacks in a few weeks also

Edited to correct spelling

Kiddoodle is the one on the left. We believe that he is a he due to the way he sounds and is way bigger. He is from the buff Orpington egg. Weeble we think is a girl and quacks up a storm. She is from the chocolate runner egg and has a lot of brown showing through on her belly and head. I think we can safely say that the dad was one of your blue runners. We love them but they hate us. Lol
All my young ducks are afraid of me too. I really wish they were not. I think as they get older and you have a routine with them, they will settle down. I have my breeds seperated in different pens and at night when it is time to go to their beds they know exactly where to go and i just walk behind them, I like this, makes it so easy to get everyone to bed. I wonder if different generations of ducks can be more fearful? I just hope time will calm them and they build trust in us.

Hey @UGLYFOOT
In your big 'bator do you know if your eggs CAM reaches the bottom of the egg? You can tell by candling from the bottom of the egg (after day 14 or so) to see if it's dark to the bottom or if there is a glow in there.

I think my auto turner is broken and not turning the eggs to the full 45° they need for full development. The first time it happened I thought it was just because the eggs were large or shipped, but this time it's happening even to the little bantam eggs, and the eggs from my own chickens, so I know it's not from shipping.

Sorry you lost me.. I have no idea what you are talking about. Yes I can incubate eggs for you.
