I am seeing molt also from my Runners and Buffs so I'd say it's normal. My Muscovy molt in Sept-Oct .

I doubt feed had anything to do with it its just the time of year.

Great to hear the girls are taking a break so needed too.

Agree with Miss Lydia. I've got a couple of mine moulting right now. The kiddy pool looked like a pillow fight!

I've stopped giving Sprightly her calcium now. But of course the oyster shells are always out and I'm keeping a close eye!

I'm so relieved that they're both taking a break!

I've got a bunch too, from the nicer ones I've found. All covered in dust, standing in a glass on a shelf.

Oh that's really cool! I'm thinking of collecting a bunch of feathers this year, so come spring I can make a nest solely out of differently colored feathers that I can enter in the egg contest
