I sincerely apologise, but I forgot a key piece of information that could change your predictions. *All of these birds are bantams.* You may have realized it anyway, but I feel bad for not putting it in there. Please let me know if it changes anything. Sorry.
It’s fine, I assumed as much :)

He just showed up on my property a few weeks ago. Somebody must have dropped him off. I'll try to get some better pictures when the weather clears up.

Figuring out which one is the australorp would make it easy to tell what breed the other chick is. However, the problem with hatchery quality australorps is that some do have yellow legs, which makes it a lot harder to tell them apart from jersey giants.
Where did you get them?

They both look like pullets at this point, but I would watch the smaller one for any more wattle growth.
Honestly they both look identical other than ones a little bigger than the other and ones comb is bigger than the other. At one point I thought they were both australorps but the reason I lean against that is because meyers doesnt list black australorps as a rare breed (I’m not saying they are a rare breed bc idk I’m just saying the hatchery doesn’t have them under the rare breed category)

If one is noticeably bigger then I would be leaning towards jersey giant. Even if their feet do match, it could be due to them being hatchery quality.

Hello! I was wondering if anyone could identify this chicken for me. We got ours from Meyer Hatchery and I thought she was supposed to be one of my Barred Plymouth Rocks, however she seems to have different feathers on her head. We call her “Crazy Hair” LOL They are all almost 10 weeks old. Any idea what she is?

She’s an olive egger (usually a cream legbar x marans cross). The crest comes from the legbar parentage.
