6-7 week old welsummers

Are you sure those are Welsummers? That bird appears to have green legs. Welsummers have yellow legs. Pattern looks too messy to be a Welly also.

Send pics as the chicks age, it'll be interesting to see their coloration as they develop.

Will definitely keep the pics coming, will be very interesting seeing what happens. Will have a good look for a photo of the cockerel as a chick, I must have one somewhere just have to go back 7 years! He came from our very first go at hatching, a pick and mix batch of hatching eggs at auction! The start of our chicken keeping

Hi! I recently bought this little lady and was informed she was 4 weeks old. I have no idea if that's true, or if she's even a she. Any help?

I'm leaving backyard chickens. no one will answer my questions. Thought I would get help on this site.

No offense but they did respond to your posts. The concensus was that we needed additional pics of the birds in question. Some are difficult if not impossible to determine by comb alone. Age, feather patern/color, stance, legs, etc all play a part in accurate sexing. I think we were all just waiting for clearer pics. :)

I'm sorry if I sound rude, but I've been reading every post and reply for weeks if not moths. I've seen your posts and I've also seen multiple replies asking you to post other pics (including ppl who gave you specific instructions on which angles to take those pics from).

I'm new here. That said, I Do appreciate the feedback from the folks on this thread. I would only ask of others what I expect of myself...which is a respectful tone, willingness to listen to feedback and a polite ability to interact with others.
