Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

Hi we are new to this site and chickens, just bought these beauty's home , any idea on the sex , we really didn't want cockerel due to neighbours. Any help advise much appreciated
The pretty one perched on the left with the big bright red comb and wattles is a cockerel. From what I can see, the others look like pullets. Can't really see the white one well.

6 months new to chicken-keeping and hopelessly addicted. I read so many of your forums and posts morning/noon/late night, while I was getting started. I can't thank you enough!

This was the 'surprise' chick with 15 buff laced polish girls. MMcM say they don't put Barred Rock with exotics so..... my completely uneducated guess would be Dominique or Cuckoo Maran. I'd love either, but I'm afraid it's a boy.

Help please! First pics about 7 days old. Next 5 weeks. Thanks!

Probably a Dominique with the white legs. And probably a cockerel... pinking up, wattles coming in, and a lot of white on the feathers are the clues.

i was sold this cutie for a welsummer now I know it isn't. Could it be a barnvelder mix for a different bin? Can they be sexed by color? Thanks for all the help

I am curious about this chick as well. Any guesses on breed? whatever it is, it sure is cute

Thankyou that's what we thought , the white one has a small pale pink comb on its head ?
Depends on the breed and comb type too. Some develop more slowly, so you won't see cockerel signs as soon. Probably a pullet, but can you get a better picture of the white one?
