Here's the variation in the combs... They are either one or the other. Hatched 2-7-17.
 
Trying to learn--these are my 5 week Cornish X, so it doesn't matter what they are. :) I'm guessing all are cockerels except the two circled ones, and how about the one with the question mark? Thank you--this thread is so helpful!

Hello from New Zealand! Any help on sexing my chickens would be awesome thanks. I'm fairly certain of 3 roos?( top) but the rest are a mystery to me! Photos are taken between the ages of 7 - 8 weeks and they are Orpington x shavers.

1, 2, 3, and 5 are all definitely boys. And not Orpington mixes with the yellow skin on them. And neither Orpingtons or shavers have rose combs. Those chicks are very mixed breeds, probably a few generations back.

I'm praying shes a hen, though she took to a roo the other day is that normal?

p.s Obviously don't no much about chicken breeds just what the breeder i got them from told me... but no worries I actually love having such a different mix of beautiful mongrels lol
