Got 3 new chicks..not sure of gender. I know it's a little soon, i think they may be around 5/6 weeks but would love your input. Suppose to be a Barred rock, EE, RIR.

Hello! I decided to start another thread on helping all you back yard chicken farmers determine the sex of your chicken.
I know it can sometimes be super tricky to identify gender in chicks, so that's why we made this thread! No need to start your own thread, just hop on here and share a picture of your chick, making sure it's at least 4 weeks old before asking gender. Me and @Jetblack2004 are almost 100% on genders for chicks 4 weeks+.
So feel free to ask lots of questions regarding gender. We do NOT identify breeds, only gender. However, if anyone out there is good at identifying breeds, please let us know, we would love to have your help!

To young to say for sure but none of them are showing signs of being cockerels.

Glad you were able to find homes! Are you getting more girls?

Yes, we have 8 more girls that are 5 weeks younger, so they are 7 weeks old. We'll be integrating them soon.

She's the love of my life, so even if she's a cockerel, I will still find a way to keep her...she's awesome.

This 5 week old Welsummer is for sure a boy isn't he? Flighty and a bit aggressive too. Hope he mellows out or we won't be keeping him.
I guess I shouldn't have named him Buckbeak...
