I'm thinking pullet right now, some pullets get semi curved tails but they "grow" out of them as they get older. But this one is definitely tricky. 

I know it! I've been going back and forth for weeks on what I think it is, finally decided to call on the BYC experts

This one is tricky indeed! Head of a pullet,tail of a roo....boy..I think we'll all be curious to see if you get an egg or a crow

As far as the above orpingtons I had one like that young and she lays lots of big eggs so don't worry too much till 6-8 weeks if she looks very male with a bigger comb...

As for the other yellow bird - another orp? Could go either way. One of my Dominique's super wanted to be in with one of our Roos. Thought they wanted to fight but ended up they like each other... So they moved I to another coop... Birds are funny- again could go either way but doesn't look super boyish...

Buffs I believe, this one I think is a cockerel, very red probounced comb and waddles, cute guy though

Got this nugget out of a bantam bin at TSC. Thinking it's a black bantam rosecomb but beyond that, I'm not sure. I know rosecombs can be tricky to sex, I have had some wyandottes trick me before. It's approx 4 weeks old. No altering of the photo, natural indoor light. Also, it sounds female, does not have the loud raspiness to the voice I have learned is a male trait.
