Any guesses on this little one? I got four new babies from a friend yesterday. They are 6 weeks old and she didn't know breed or gender for any of them. This one has more pink/red on the face and wattle development.

You'll be able to tell once they are older lots of chickens look like this when they are young

Haha, X2 on that. It's pretty much impossible to tell gender in a chick this young unless it's a really early blooming rooster or if you are using different sexing techniques besides comb and wattles sexing, which is how I typically prefer to sex chickens. 6-8 weeks old is the "Sweet spot" where you can start to pick out the roosters out of pullets.

Vent sexing shouldn't be attempted unless you really know what you're doing

Are they 24 hours old? I need you to splay their wing feathers out like you're doing accept get closer if possible if they're under 24 hours then just wait and let me know, but it's a small window when it's most accurate so timing is everything are there 4 birds?
