November 2022 Hatch-a-long

My hen made 6 swimmers of 20 eggs. Then she abandoned the nest when I managed to dig her and it out of her hide hole. So now Im.incubating babies I didn't want to begin with. Freakin' chickens.

I am collecting a few eggs from my hens, and I am having eggs shipped today from a farm, one state away. They will hatch in Dec. I will post pics.

I have 2 duck eggs in the bator
We are day 21 today
They were the only two I set as they are both twin eggs so I could run a high humidity and have small air cells giving my babies more room

Up date- now the eggs are in WA!

The eggs are at my postal, I am going to get them when I run errands. pics soon.

It's hatch day for me, and I'm worried as usual that nothing will hatch. I have one egg chirping though, and it's rocking and rolling. I hope it's able to pip soon. I have some concern when I don't see pips.

Two Svart Hona chicks so far. I'm not sure how good my numbers will be on this hatch, but I'm happy to welcome these two.
