Not thrilled being locked up...

I had him inside yesterday and he made a horrific mess... so today I put him in that pen in the shade. Rouen comes and sits by him from time to time. Feel awful putting him in jail, but he refuses to stop running around so I had to confine him.

It’s for his own good and hopefully it will help him heal faster. There’s no talking logic with these ducks. lol. Are giving him and b vitamins? That can help with support.

I started him on Baytril this morning, but also have good liquid ultra B (that I take myself) which I’ll try to give him. Probably hard to OD, but I’ll check the dosage... thank you.

If human he can have up to 3ml a day give it too him over a tasty treat and what his body doesn’t use he’ll pee out. You think maybe infection in the leg too?

Thanks so much, will give him that tonight. It’s possible there’s an infection which is why I got the Baytril... better safe than sorry I figure. Will get probiotics for his water, too.

Good idea on the probiotics. I sure hope he begins to improve real soon he’s sure a handsome boy.
