Nurture Right 360 Incubator Okay?

Pics
I just emailed them for a fan cover, has anyone gotten one yet?

Btw, I started 15 eggs on Saturday!!! So scared, they were all shipped and had detached air cells. Currently running them upright in an egg carton and propping one side of the carton up on legos and hand turning. I candeled them last night and they didn't seem as sloshy inside, so maybe they are okay to run "normal" soon?

I really like this incubator. Minimal work. Monitor temp, humidity and add water daily. Day 7... I candled 3 eggs this morning. I can’t see anything in green/blue, or dark brown eggs. But I do see movement in a light colored egg. I’m new to chickens and egg hatching.

We bought one of these at TS. Today it's up and going no eggs in the incubator yet but will be adding 3 Bantam Silkies later today to start the 21 day cycle. I have been running the incubator for about 2 days now and so far the temp holds good at 99.5 but the only thing I have been struggling with is the humidity. During the day its changes from 46% to 50%. Although, over the last few days we had a cold front move through and the outside humidity dropped changing the indoor humidity. We keep our indoor temp set at 74 degrees. My brother is a very experienced egg hatcher and he is telling me not to worry and just focus on the temp and make sure the humidity at least stays above 45% until lockdown and then increase to around 70%.

I sent an email to the company requesting a fan cover and they have replied that they will send it. Hopefully it makes it here before I have chicks, but I am very grateful that they replied quickly and will be fixing things. If it mangled a chicken's beak that much, I really don't want to risk my finger (or my 5 year old's finger) going into it either!

Ours strait out of the box had a broken wiring harness. The part of the connector where the power from the wall plugs into the hood broke and went inside the hood. No big problem I unscrewed the inside of the hood and pushed the adapter back out the hood. Although, I had to apply black electrical tape to reseal the hood the incubator is running great. I going to call the manufacture and have them send a new hood but since time is not on myside I had to go ahead and use the broke hood for my eggs.

I will agree the incubator runs good, but the overall quality of the construction and assembling is not what I would expect for the price.

Hi! I put in 15 eggs on Sunday. I couldn't help but candle a few, but I'm seeing some great stuff so far. This is Day 4/5 cusp. I have nothing to compare this incubator to, this is my first time, but it's not making my experience overly difficult. My humidity DOES fluctuate, but not super significantly. But it doesn't stay between 50-55 like the instructions say. I just refill it daily and try to stay consistent. I've seen some mixed information about humidity and how high or low it should be, so I'm trying not to worry about it.

Lastly, I just saw the post about the fan cover which freaked me out, so I think I'm gonna need to contact the company so they send me one, hopefully before hatching time. I hope this helps sort of!
