Nurture Right 360 Incubator Okay?

Pics
Well, I couldn't resist but the broken piece on my Nurture 360 was giving me OCD so I took it back to Tractor Supply and exchanged it for a Farm Innovators Pro Series Digital incubator. So far I'm happy with the product. The only down side is you cant see the water level in it. Eggs went in this morning 4 Silkies, so today is day 1.

I just emailed them for a fan cover, has anyone gotten one yet?

Btw, I started 15 eggs on Saturday!!! So scared, they were all shipped and had detached air cells. Currently running them upright in an egg carton and propping one side of the carton up on legos and hand turning. I candeled them last night and they didn't seem as sloshy inside, so maybe they are okay to run "normal" soon?

I got my cover in the mail this past Monday, within a few days of receiving an email from the company. I have eggs in it, so I haven't installed the fan cover, but will do so when I take the turner out. You don't necessarily have to take the turner out, but I have more eggs from another incubator that I will be adding for hatch time. I love the view with this incubator!

Mine worked well up to day 22.

Hatched eggs on day 21 successfully but on day 22 the digital read out appeared to have moisture build up in it. I woke up this morning and the DRO said 219 degrees and 99% humidity.

I gambled that it was fine inside and that the read out was wrong and a baby chick that hatched this morning died because I was wrong. The chick quit moving after some time and when we had to intervene, we opened the incubator to find no heat or humidity. We did not want to open it sooner because the baby was still wet and did not want to risk chilling her.

sucks.

Oh my goodness, I'm sorry.
Mine are hatching now.

That's so scary, I don't want this to happen. What do you recommend to do in this situation?

Follow those suggestions can avoid condensation happen: 1) Increase the room temperature not lower than 74F, 2) set humidity 65~70% for last 3 days, 3) REMEMBER to fully open the air vent when chicks start hatching (because wet chicks would cause humidity spike a lot than 70%) to help dry the chicks and meanwhile avoid possible condensation, control humidity within 75%, especially on hatch day.

I just finished my first hatch using this incubator and I think it turned out really well. 7 shipped eggs all developed, 6 made it to lockdown, 5 hatched. IMG_5946.JPG IMG_5942.JPG IMG_5947.JPG IMG_5949.JPG
