Is there any water in Chamber "A" when you saw humidity reading is 9 or 11?

Not by the morning. I have been filling both chambers up to get 45%-50% I add water everyday to the reservoirs, usually in the morning when I notice it so low. House is set at 72 degrees and is well insulated and very constant so not quite sure why this happens.

What is the humidity reading if you only fill chamber A?

In general, only fill chamber A is enough to get 45~50%, under the conditions of:
- chamber B is being blocked by the red plug
- water level in chamber A higher than the bottom rectangle inlet hole
- couple hours needed for humidity to fully stabilize after each time adding water

@Nurtureright360 you can correct me if I am wrong, but since I couldn't see the water in the chambers, while I had the incubator empty, I measured the amount of water it takes to fill them.
Chamber A will hold approx 4 oz. and Chamber B will hold about 16 oz.
Depth of the water doesn't matter, but if it's necessary to be away for extended time periods, i wanted to be sure I had enough water in them to cover at least the bottom of both chambers.

I will say, i have several different incubators, and this is the only one that requires so much surface area of water to achieve high humidity.

I found this thread while at TSC on Tuesday. I was looking for reviews also. The lady I talked to at the store said the incubator is a new model and they had just received it in store the day before. I took a chance on it too. Mine is also just a little cooler, so I changed the temp to 100.0 instead of 99.5. Now it is just where it should be.(It would be nice if temp could be adjusted in tenths of degrees rather than half degrees though.) Humidity is perfect. I like the way you add water from the outside. I also like the view. I set eggs in it this am and also in my IncuView. I wanted to compare. I bought this one from TSC because I had a gift card, so the price was great. TSC said keep the receipt and bring it back if there are any problems.

Pros and cons of both and which one you prefer. I have been looking at both and trying to decide. I currently only have the small Brinsea Advanced Mini, which I love but is very small.

I have both the Incuview and the NurtureRight 360. I much prefer the Incuview for many of the reasons mentioned in my earlier post. The Incuview is very easy to get consistent at the temp that you set and desire and is adjustable by tenths of a degree, rather than 0.5 degree increments of the Nurture Right. It is easy to calibrate. The view is superior and the safety features for poultry is superior. Any size egg will fit in the Incuview (probably not Ostrich), but quail, chicken, duck, goose are all an easy fit. The temp probe extends down much further (more to the level of the eggs) than the Nurture Right 360.

Today is day 1. A bunch were cracked. And one hatched so far!

8 alive, 3 cracked! I had 21 total. Still waiting for the others. Hard to control the humidity after they start hatching.
