I was just thinking that perhaps I can buy some plexiglass and make a box to put over the top of a chicken and leave it in the yard. I wonder if the Preds eyesight would be enough to notice or if it would hit that thing in a flying streak?

The cutout dog that "moves" in the wind is not nearly so colorful an option as your grand ideas, but it just might work .

Does the house have a sump pump? Might have been where the sump pump water was pumped to. Usually people put it as far from the house as possible when it exits the hosing.

Yes it is illegal, however, in the droughts we have sometimes in the summer, I have been known to detach the washer from the septic system and water my flowers with grey water. I would rather do this than not water my outside flowers, or worse have my pump go dry by using fresh well water....however, running a grey water system so it dumps in or near and creek, never!!!!!

Naw, to me, that's recycling. Just make sure there's no bleach in the water! I never understood why you couldn't do this anyways... soaps will naturally biodegrade in the soil.

At least I think those are the quantities. Put them in and forgot to count, now the lid is on and I won't be sure till I check fertility in a week. I am going to be "leasing" them to a local photographer for Easter pictures. A families memories with our chicks. How wonderful!!
