NY chicken lover!!!!

I grill pretty much every day lately. Wood fired/smoked boneless chicken thighs. Smoked over indirect apple wood smoke for just under an hour then seared over direct heat. Juicy delicious chicken. The corn on the cob was killer too.

Evening Everyone,
Just got back from CT and wanted to thanks again for the quick feedback on my chick. I left him Friday with a band around his legs loosely enough to keep them together but apart so he could walk. Came home today to him walking around fine, I removed the band and surprise surprise.....

It worked!!!! So happy this little thing is looking better!!!!

County--I like the new sight you have on your bow. Is is accurate?

Had to move the reds back into the coop again tonight. Going to take some time for them to get used to the new digs. Getting rain here. We need it.

Stony---looks good! Only thing better would be a nice venison steak!

three chicks hatched over night. had no idea they were this close to hatching. Broody ee did the deed. I think they'll be Buckwheats frizzles. One is yellow other two black and spotted. Eggs were small so I figure they 're Buckwheats. One thing about marans is they're egg shells are thicker and smoother than most.

Country boy - try the pound. I like that lab.

ta, ta for now,

Um amazing I'm buying a freezer soon and I can't wait to fill it with my poultry and to be able to cook like that is awesome. I've been learning how to make smokers I need to just do it and get on with it. Rock on!

I'm glad that little one is doing better, I just love the splash orp br mix especially the two toned feet.
