I'm ok, just tired and sore. I've been up every hour during the night to use the bathroom and I'm so ready for this to be done. My 40 week appointment is Tuesday morning and hopefully this little girl will decide to meet the world.
A friend picked up a buff leghorn roo at the Cobleskill show for us today.
This spring we'll be breeding him with our white leghorns to replace our own general layers and not buying from TSC.

I just saw pictures online of Adoravachick and her two silkies she took to that fair, they took first place! Not sure what category though.
Typing on my iPhone at a campsite and hopefully 3rd time is the charm.
My tots were in an area where they could see the big girls thru the fence. I put the tots in the coop with the big girls at night and was off the next day to watch. I moved them over when Stella was to big to fit thru the electric netting. They were also fed in am area only they could access for a couple weeks to ensure they ate. There was never any blood loos just some feathers. It took a month maybe before the tots were not chased all day anytime they got near a big girl but they are fine now. The big girls still grab a feather now or then or a peck on the head at feeding time but usually just a move of their head and the tots move. Of course at night the tots end up next to a big girl and they let them
