Any of you have or know of a good brand .... I want to monitor my land - but in real time ... so if my crappy neighbor is sneaking over and doing something - I want to HEAR it in real time and see it too ... So I guess like a super dooper baby monitor to pick up sounds ? and then a wildlife camera ...

I only really need the audio at once, so I can be in my bedroom sleeping, and hear if someone is walking on the back 40 .... the camera/pics can help if I prosecute ..... :) so I don't need them at once ....

It has to be battery or solar and weather proof ...

Congrats Tab. You have a beautiful family. Enjoy the baby they grow so quick

Congrats on the new layer its always exciting when one starts laying.

County Boy,

Terrific pics! Amazing how your chickens seem to be sporting autumn plumage and coordinate with the falling leaves. Stunning birds.

Featherz and Miquwid,

Enjoyed your adorable pictures very much! Thanks for sharing them. It's so neat to see other people's birds and cute critters.

While driving back home from an errand today, I saw a very thin and pathetic looking juvenile fox. Poor thing had an advanced case of mange, especially along its hind end, but was still trying to hunt for grasshoppers along the roadside. I don't imagine it will last too long in the shape it was in.

Managed to pick up a sore throat and cold. Yuck. Back to school always brings the germs to our house.

Take care all.

fox came and snatched my Sussex. I was home and came out just after it happened. Followed feathers into the woods. It dropped her and took off. She's recouping inside and I hope she'll be okay. I wasn't sure what happened but saw the fox running across a neighbors yard.

I don't let them out unless it's for a short period while I'm there.
