We had a St. Bernard named Judge Roy Bean. We showed him in obedience classes in Syracuse. He was one of only 2 giant breeds that showed in the obedience classes. They are great dogs. We used to have a game...we would measure the distance on the drool fling when he shook his head. The winner was one that went onto the ceiling of the next room over.

Yes - we cleaned it up. We were quite practiced at cleaning up.

Virginia sounds nice. The great thing about having freinds that move away is that there is someplace to visit when you want to travel!

A visit and a cup of coffee is very cheering, even when it is virtual.

Thanks.

Funny - we used to measure too! I can't believe how much and how far he and our other male Thor we used to have could make it fly. Thor has been gone a long time and Odin was reigning Champion - Loki well she's our little princess and unless it's doritos, bones or jelly beans there will be no drool! That is great about the obedience classes - we never got to take Odin but he was well trained and behaved. I'm still finding spots that I thought I had cleaned up but there are more higher up! His name was Playboy Odin Thunderpaws. All our Sts names end in Thunderpaws because when they would run through the house things would shake and it was like a small thunderstorm!

here's a cup of virtual coffee for you!

my cafe to your cafe!

Go play with your baby chickies and feel better - nothing like a chirping chick to make you feel better when you snuggle them - unless it's a big drooly kiss!

Hey Fyre--did you get any more silkies yet?? My babies are fiesty, busy little things and Mumbles, my month old silkie, hates when I clean their little butts. She runs frantically back and forth in front of the wire mesh separating them cause she hears their distress calls. Poor thing. Maybe friday I will let her in with them to see how she is with them.

Moving somewhere warmer sounds nice. Too warm for me but maybe you will get lucky and get a house with lots of land so you can have even more chickens!!! I can empathize about the whole kids thing. Mine are always yelling at me about "chickens!" I cant help the addiction. I think I have enough wood left to build another chicken tractor so I have room for more! lol I would love to have some silver penciled bantam rocks. Havent seen any posted yet though. My big girls (barred rocks and glwyandottes) are 1 year old today! Happy Birthday to my babies!!! Such good girls giving me big eggs now. I will have to get them some special treats today to celebrate. Another reason for my daughters to roll their eyes and ask what I am getting them as their birthdays are next month.

Rancher--you must have been talking to my husband as he tells me my silkies look funny and arent real chickens. He shakes his head when he looks at them.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I don't use a second incu for hatching. I tried it once and things did not go well, so I said forget it. Just don't mix up those CR's and get over here when I get back to help build their hoop coop..

Speaking of silkies.... are you ok with a white cockerel? He's really pretty, but I can't show him -- what I thought was an extra toenail is an entire toe! The splash & white girls can go now too. And babies.

I can't remember which other boy you were getting -- thought it was the light blue.

FREE!
Not sure where to post this so I went here in the NY thread. Well I have a beautiful 9 month old mix roo (Silver Laced Polish/Rhode Island Red) He is one from a hatch we had last July 1st. He is good with me but will go after my 8 year old son at times. I can't take any chances with my son being injured. So if anybody is interested please PM me. I am located in Dutchess county NY.

Thanks
