We had an electrical "thing" in the Pond. I don't know what it is called. It was circular and just kept the pond enough openedActually they're smart! It's 16 degrees out in the air, but if the water's not frozen, it has to be at least 33 degrees. They're actually warmer in there than they would be outMine do the same thing, lol.
I was actually wondering that after I posted the pic. That water will never freeze, it runs all year round since it's from the spring up in the mountain.
for the Ducks to swim all Winter. If the spring keeps running...perhaps it will stay opened.
I know the Ducks will try and swim and sometimes if frozen a little...they will stay on and it will
open. They are water lovers. Regards, Aria
