Well it looks like my little chick has bumble foot. If I'm not on here tomorrow it's because I'm puking my brains out after taking care of this "surgery".

Ok so when I said if "I'm not on tomorrow..." it's because I thought I wasn't going to perform this task until tomorrow morning. Well I brought the chick down to clean her up, make sure her her foot was staying clean, etc. Well when I was drying her off I noticed that by her foot soaking in the water the skin started to soften and "peel". So I peeled back the skin, wiped it clean, peeled it back some more, wiped it clean and kept repeating until all the nasty crap that was inside of that bubble came out. My stomach is in knots right now because I can't believe I just fixed this foot. But it's out. It was caught early enough, I was able to wipe everything, there was barely any blood which was good because I probably would have fainted. I put some cream on it and wrapped it up good, keeping any dirt from getting in there. Here's her foot all cleaned out...

Thanks! Does it look OK? Will the swelling go down? I should have taken a side by side pic of this one next to her other foot. Her other foot is so skinny and lanky compared to this one.

It was like a clear jelly almost. Like on the verge of becoming solid yellow and hard, like the chunks I saw in videos on how to treat bumble foot. YUCK!

Ok. Like i said had me confused some. Bottom looked like frostbite because i didnt see a scab or plug. How is that top bubble doing did it drain also? Good job btw. Aint it fun digging in a foot lol. Ones i did was bleeding more was a surface bumble foot starting not blistered up at all.

Wow great job. I would have to say it probably was not bumble foot. My girls had it and it was one spot with a hard core in the middle. I am guessing maybe she got some frost bite on it and it bubbles. (my other guess would be a burn that blistered since skin does peel after burns) but since its so cold out I couldn't figure out what she might of burned it on.

I would put some nustock or coconut oil on it and change it every couple of days. Coconut oil is my new favorite for injuries/infections. It heals things so fast. Even on people
