Morning all! What a delightful night to sleep. Nice cool breeze all night. Even the cheeps were happy. Yesterday was horrible. People were just mean and nasty. All the employees were saying how nasty they were. Yup, I got the one who had filled a 30 day supply in May and called for a refill yesterday and was madder than a hornet that we didnt call her to tell her she had no refills and what were we going to do about it because she took her last pill two days ago. I am no math genius but really????? Sigh. God gave me lots of patience but even I have my limits. I was tired and cranky when I got home but the sight of my silkies running to greet me totally fixed that. I love my chickens. They make me happy.
I think the bears have been very active as of late. I am hearing from many people that they have been seeing them more. My mother was awakened by some snarling outside and her neighbor saw some scat in the road that she walks on. I told her to keep her pistol with her when she walks. We havent seen the big boy back. Did wake up to a coyote howling in the neighbors yard. Dh got up and shined the light around the coops to see if he could see eyes. I saw a nice little button buck and his sister when I got home last night. They looked nice and healthy. He will be a nice buck when he gets another year or two on him.
Metalla--You arent the only one who is a bug magnet. If there is one mosquito in a hundred miles it will find me. I blow up and itch so bad from them that I have the scars to prove it. I love deet. I will bathe in deet if it means no bites. I would rather die from deet that get bit!
Off to another long, fun filled day. Hopefully, since its nice, everyone will be doing outdoor activities and stay away. I hope all of you on here have a nice day.
