Do you know if there is a page about this? I would love to go and possibly sell a few chicks (maybe buy some too as usual haha).Peeps local to me, the Town of Nassau is holding another small animal "tailgate" sale Saturday, April 27, from 9 AM until 2 PM at the Highway Department at 599 Central Nassau Road. This is why I love this dinky little town - anyplace that has a Farm and Agriculture Committee that encourages the sale of small livestock on town property is OK by me!
There's nothing wrong with the LG. You just have to get your own system going. All the rules are not so hard and fast as I thought in the beginning. Even the article I give out is off a little when it comes to Marans eggs. I would never have known if not for BYC. This hatch has the humidity 10% lower than I normally run. We shall see if it's helps.

Thanks!
As a new homeowner in East Nassau this looks like a great event. I can't wait!
I would LOVE to go to the tailgate. But, I can't go though because I have "Go Green Day" at Farnsworth Middle school in Guilderland. I will be promoting backyard chickens. Yup, second time to participate and it really is fun. I am working on getting the display ready. Proper housing and care, how long chickens live (I have 7 yr old hens) breed selection, etc. Anyone have any other ideas? Be sure to visit if you happen to be that way!
