Trying to decide if I should give the coops a good cleaning or let it go a couple more weeks and do it closer to winter. I've just been throwing new shavings in there from time to time. I'd like to at least move the duck pen to another spot before that whole area becomes mud.
Miquwid ~ Hope you're able to help that bird and get that wound healed. Could it be from a roo??
Glass ~ We don't BBQ that often either only because, well obviously that's all my husband does all day. LOL We do grill though. We throw everything on the grill. Actually I was at a friends a couple of summers ago and they were grilling pizza on the grill. It was sooooo good! I'd like to do that if I can get my hands on a good pizza stone. I'm hoping now that I'm not working, that I can find some good recipes and start cooking for us instead of it always being DH. I can only cook if I follow a recipe though, otherwise it's a disaster. LOL
Still not sure when we're doing the fair. It's probably going to be a last minute decision when we do decide to go. DH still isn't sure what day he's off this week/weekend.
Those with ducks, I've been noticing my KC female doing this weird thing now when she's walking with the others. She'll walk forward and keep looking back to the side towards the ground. I'll have to try to get a video of her doing it. Not sure if it's just a gesture or if I should be concerned. I've never seen her do it before two weeks ago. So as she's walking it's almost like she sees something in the grass as she's passing it and looks back at the ground beside her and then keeps on. Kinda like if were walking and thought you dropped something and looked down to the side/behind you? It's just really weird cuz she does it over and over and over again. Like a "tick" she has. LOL I'll try to get a video when I get back from the store.
