Thank you Stony, that just made my night.
Now I have to tell you I just had 19 roosters processed and the guy that did it made sure he explained the "hair" on my chickens.
Apparently he had never seen such hairy chickens and wanted to make sure I knew it was chicken hair and not his. Usually he raises and processes cornish cross and my mixed breed, mixed color chickens were a big surprise. Not only that, instead of sitting calmly in the open crate just watching him kill their buddies, they tried to get away! And then they fought back. He had never worked with such feisty chickens and I had to explain freerange heritage chickens to him.
