Afternoon All,
We found and have been accepted to to rent a new home! It's in Woodstock, CT so we're closer to family but it'll be about an hour commute to DH's job. Which is fine because he said an hour was the max he'd be willing to drive. This was his favorite house because it's on a lake that we would have rights to so he's happy. As far as the chicken keeping goes, we haven't brought that up yet to any of the houses we looked at (well besides the one that was raising them when they were living there) I plan to bring it up this weekend when we go to visit and meet the owner. We would move in in Aug 1st, well get the keys at least. I won't be out of this house until Aug 8th. I have a far ways to go.

Luckily the chicken eggs kept right on going - probably because they were so newly in there - and I will have a new breed soon! Mottled houdans. I also have blue slate turkey eggs and guinea eggs in there. The ducks are molting and not laying, so I'm hoping they'll finish fast and pick back up by fall.
