thanks for help guys.

They are like a brownish red with a lavender blue or dusty gray back
When they first hatched, they were all blue

I'm not sure, but the seller should know. My guess is gold laced something. If you post a face pic it might resemble a barnevelder.

Well Lucky has been De Throned .. The Poor guy .. He has been Good for Our Flock .I wish he still was like this ODD ...Really Not Funny He wasnt mean to those young Roos .. Only chased them and Pecked them once if they were not looking ... He never tried to take them down just gave them a Reminder who was boss The 2 Young Roos act like they want to kill him ..attacking his comb and both taking him down at the same time . I have Separated him to his own Cage ..For his Safety . I was hoping he would die in his sleep before this happened . I think a Hen that was given me is dieing ..( a hatchery Comet ) She is Probably 2 - 3 years old ..I am her third owner at least She didnt roost with the flock last night Lucky got out of his area ...while I was gone I Really HATE to Come Home to things that No one Else Noticed .. ( Im like did you hear any Rooster sounds ? ) I found the two of them wedged in the same area where no one could get to them . She acted Lethargic when I got her out ..I put her in with him . As she just acted like she wanted to sleep ...anywhere At first he backed away ..But later I went out and looked at them and he was standing over her ... Like he was guarding her
I'm sad that you have two chickens failing. At least they can keep each other company. Also the younger ones might be more brutal in attempt to establish dominance amongst each other.

I am sorry for your trouble. My modis operendi is to give them anything that might help. In this case I'd try some Duramycin in their water. I'd figure at this point what did I have to lose.

Right now I have a frizzle that is beat up by a OE rooster. He's with the inside flock and will be going. I put her by herself and will spray her with blue kote. I'll keep her that way til she's better. Keep us posted.

Can't really say but I'd let it grow out and see. Might turn turn out to be a real pretty bird. If it's a hen and you don't like her bring her to Chickenstock. Might find someone who wants her.

Well I did it. I bought some chicks at TSC. I still have this lone chick and at TSC they're 50 cents. Mostly look to be barred rock and silkies. Straight run. So I picked out three BR's that look to be pullets and seven of the Silkies. What I don't keep I will bring to chickens stock or post to CL. I do have some frizzle hens so I can perhaps get some Sizzles. Most are lightish blonde a couple are tanish.

I did take some eggs for the staff there and one of the ladies gave me a fiver so it worked out well.

Baunlee: I have marans laying and have stuck some eggs under the hens. A Frizzle had gone broody so she got a few. Keep your fingers crossed and less hope some hatch.

Tractor Supply seems to be doing a buy 4 get one free deal on Dumor and Purina feed so I stocked up today. The chicks are also buy 6 get 2 free. I wasn't tempted by anything they had, though, so no chicks here.

@baunlee As an egg seller I'd say it's perfectly acceptable to ask for a refund. It might have been they made an oops and sent you the wrong eggs. I've done that and I fully refunded the buyer. You should have gotten what you paid for :)

Hatched my first gosling of the year!

He's a gander so I won't be keeping him, sadly. Now I'm hoping Jasmine starts laying so I can actually have goslings to bring to Chickenstock. She'd have to start laying in the next two days for that though so I might not be able to bring the pair I had earmarked for Luv :( Lacie stopped laying because she's broody. She only gave me seven eggs before she started brooding, and some of those were infertile and she's on the last one she laid.
