Hey guys. Long time no see.
We've finally started venturing into the realm of rooster keeping. Wish us luck.
We also tried our luck with getting four pullets... whom three of turned out to be cockerels. Oh well. They're getting along with the flock so far - the three are all part Silkie, and we went for Silkies to have a higher chance of roosters being able to coexist.
So, we're located in Oswego if Tiffany's too far or has already found someone else (or if anyone else is checking this out who's looking for Silkies). We have a purebred white Silkie pair, male and female, who are bonded, six months old, and docile. Currently, they go by Watson and Holmes (Holmes being the rooster). We're open to trading for confirmed hens, especially Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, or any other unique egg types, though others will also be considered.
Given some time, they'll probably integrate into our flock better, but we don't like splitting up bonded chickens (that's how we ended up with four "pullets") and our current situation needs a little more hen and a little less rooster.

Tiffany, where are you located? We are interested in one Silkie Rooster. We are located in Sauquoit, NY. Thanks Aria
