Didn't Lebanon Valley Speedway have a Night where there were rocket drag cars and call it "Night of Thunder" haven't been there in a long time. Was alot of fun.

As the crow flies, I am about 2 miles from the speedway. As I recall, it was a work night and I had to work the next day and it was hot and the windows were open. I couldn't sleep because of the noise. I didn't think it was fun!!(but would have if I went)

I think it might have been "eve of destruction"....though not sure. Glad you had fun though!!! I just wish they would keep the noisy stuff for the weekend......how close to Albany are you?

I definitely will NOT be collecting all the colors. I still don't know that I will like these. Still I hope the others hatch. One started to pip and quit and that's not a good sign. It is still only day 18 so we shall wait and hope. Really you never know with these guys do you?

I didn't get a good hatch with the Coronation/sussex split chicks. 2 hatched, and with my luck they will be one of each!
So, I'm looking for chicks if anyone has any for sale.

You really don't know with silkies. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

How many are left to hatch?

I have cuckoo silkies in the bator along with some of my own BBS eggs, it's day 11 and I had more quitters with my own than with the eggs that came from Tennessee! I put Porcelain & Lavender silkies in there today... hope they do alright. I actually maxed out the Sportsman & had to fire up an LG today! That's a LOT of eggs!

I dunno - I think the little buggers really grow on ya! Even John likes them, but he would prefer to have all dual purpose chickens. Silkies are dual purpose... they decorate your yard & you can show them!
