ya...the cages go with the birds. A lot of people get cardboard boxes and cut windows out, staple rabbit wire in window. I have the cage from the roo I got last year and may have to use that one. I too, hate getting rid of cages. Imagine trying to transfer birds from one cage to another at a show how many would be running around loose!

When we moved over here from Western MA (Berkshire County native here) about a year ago, we began to play "spot the chickens," just to see how many households had them. I'm probably lucky our TSC had run out when we were over there the other day, as otherwise I would've had some peeping in the garage already.
No there are NOT alot of chicken people here. They are all insane in need of serious intervention.
Seriously after watching pet hoarders I will be making a concerted effort not to become one.

When we moved over here from Western MA (Berkshire County native here) about a year ago, we began to play "spot the chickens," just to see how many households had them. I swear it seems like every fifth or sixth house has them, and there are more runs and coops popping up all the time. Chickens are in! I can't wait until my chicks come the week of May 9th. I'm probably lucky our TSC had run out when we were over there the other day, as otherwise I would've had some peeping in the garage already.
