The scooper is solid $9.00 and works and the poop does NOT FALL through. Pick up and put in 5 gallon bucket with some hay of course. We have 23 Silkie Chickens. Regards, Aria
What type of poop scooper are we talking about that cost $9?
We purchased our pooper scooper at Tractor Supply and paid $9.00 and it works GREAT.

Altamont Fair is officially over. Sold 11 out of 30 chickens brought.
Took a few pictures of the "Chick Follies" exhibit. There are 4 "rides the chicks can play on. Here are 2 pictures that may give you an idea as to what they are. Really fun, feed is put on the seats of the miniature ride and the chicks hop on the eat and get a VERY slow ride.
A bit dirty at this point but there have been chicks in there for over a week.
That is cute...I actually have one of those "merry-go-rounds" from my kids wooden play set (which by the way is now a chicken coop) Was planning to use the pole as a roof/tarp support. DD will want to give the chickens a ride if she sees this
The rides are so neat, especially when the chicks are on them. I think I am still a bit wired from being at the Fair all week. My body is pooped but my brain is zooming! Argh! Guess I am going to give up and try to get some sleep. DS has soccer at 8am, I have to bring my piece of junk car to the dealer again, now the radio display keeps fading in and out. Car has 16K miles and I keep having to bring it back for problems. Windows get stuck and won't go up or down, motor mount bolts came out of the engine, recalls & now the radio. UGH!
Reorganized the roosts in the coop yesterday. I think the girls are much happier with the new setup. It looks like there will be some growing pains with the new Araucanas. The RIRs don't seem to want to share the run. We will give it a couple days and see how it goes.
Not sure everyone here is going to the swap/picnic in Voorhessville, NY this Saturday but here is what I'm offering to bring.
Just a reminder. Ok here's my pictures of what I am bringing. If you are intered please PM me. I only want to haul up what is spoken for....so if you think you might want them let me know.I also love to barter, so if you got something to swap for these birds just let me know.
She's a sweetie. The only reason I am letting her go is because her little ducky friend just passed away after a long life and she is soooooo lonely and I'm not getting anymore ducks.
