Mine won't eat raw pumpkin....what's the trick?

Let your kids pick out pumpkins for Halloween. Set them on the steps ready to be carved. Tell your chickens not to touch the pumpkins. The next time you come out at least one will be half to fully eaten. Scold chickens, rinse, repeat.

I keep putting pumpkins in for them....brkoen. I GREW some just for them. I will tell them NOT to eat these, as they are decorations. I'll see if that helps!

The first pumpkin they weren't sure what to make of it, but once they tried the seeds they were hooked.

I only use pumpkins that I grow myself. They are pesticide free then.

Appreciating all veterens out there and all they continue to do for us and our country.

Looks like a blizzard out there!

Well, for myself and my fellow veterans, thank you so much. I had the great joy today of visiting with a friend who is still in the service. Showed up by surprise today at our Veterans Day ceremony. He is stationed in Afghanistan and has to go back in a few days. So good to see him home and healthy.

Ditto on the "Thank you" to the Veterans.

Re pumpkins---one set of birds LOVE the things, the other set thinks they are evil and must be avoided. Go figure. Must be the bird brains they all have.
