Hi,
Our 5-yr old Ameraucana has had sour crop for some time now. We have tried massaging her crop, emptying her and keeping her put up, but she just goes back out & tanks back up again. It's so bad that the feathers have rubbed off of the bottom of her belly and it's getting sore. We have been told that this is caused by yeast and that we can give her Nystatin, but we have to have a prescription.
The question is, can we give her the subject cream, which is what we have on hand? If so, how much? She weighs about 4 pounds and is the sweetest, spoiledest girl ever!
